PRIVACY POLICY

BloxWrapped NEVER asks for your Roblox password, two-factor authentication codes, browser cookies, or account login. We only read publicly visible profile and badge information using official public endpoints.
1. INFORMATION WE ACCESS & COLLECT
When you generate a 2026 Year in Review (“Wrap”) on bloxwrapped.com, we process only the minimum information required to create and deliver your video and share cards:
- Public Gaming Profile Data: When you enter a public username, our server queries publicly accessible APIs for your user ID, display name, avatar thumbnail, account age, public badge award timestamps, and public group/friend counts.
- Email Address (Optional / Checkout & Contest): If you purchase a full HD Wrap ($4.99) or submit a free contest entry, we collect the email address you provide solely to send your Wrap download links, payment receipt, support updates, or prize verification instructions if you place in the Top 3 on the leaderboard.
- Payment Information: All payments are processed directly by Stripe. BloxWrapped never sees, processes, or stores your credit card number, debit card details, or Apple Pay / Google Pay credentials on our servers.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To compute your 2026 badge statistics and render your 10-second vertical MP4 video and PNG share cards.
- To email your permanent Wrap link (`/w/<id>`) and downloadable media files.
- To display your Wrap in the Public Gallery and Top 100 Leaderboard only if you explicitly opt in.
- To contact and verify Top 3 Leaderboard contest winners after the contest closes on December 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM Central Time.
- To prevent automated spam, vote manipulation, or abuse of our rendering workers.
3. PUBLIC GALLERY & LEADERBOARD OPT-IN
By default, newly generated Wraps are not listed in the Public Gallery or Leaderboard until you choose to opt in on your Wrap delivery page (or submit a free contest entry). You can remove your Wrap from the Public Gallery at any time with a single click on your Wrap page (`/w/<id>`) or by emailing us at support@bloxwrapped.com.
4. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
We take children's online privacy seriously. Opting a Wrap into the Public Gallery or entering the Leaderboard Contest requires confirming that you are at least 13 years of age, or that a parent or legal guardian is completing the entry on your behalf. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided personal information (such as an email address) without consent, please contact us at support@bloxwrapped.com and we will promptly delete the Wrap and associated email record.
5. COOKIES & PRIVACY-FRIENDLY ANALYTICS
We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell user data to third parties. We use Plausible Analytics (a cookie-free, privacy-first analytics tool) to measure aggregate page views, and browser local storage solely to prevent duplicate like-button clicks on the same Wrap.
6. DATA RETENTION & DELETION REQUESTS
- Unpaid Previews: Unpaid preview records automatically expire and are purged after 7 days.
- API Response Cache: Public badge lookup responses are cached for up to 24 hours to reduce load on upstream servers.
- Deletion Requests: You may request permanent deletion of your Wrap video, share cards, and email record at any time by emailing support@bloxwrapped.com.
